Prime Rib is one of the simpleset yet most deliciouse cuts of meat there is to make! This recipe is very simple and makes a wonderful holiday or weekend meal!
1 Whole Prime Rib 5-7 Bones
Or a pre-mixed Rub of your choice
Score the fat side of the roast vertically and horizontally with a sharp knife. Generously apply rub to the entire roast 24 hours prior to cooking wrap in plastic and place in Refrigerator.
Pre-Heat your grill to 375o for 15 minutes prior to grilling. Lay the prime rib on the grill with the Fat on the top side and reduce heat to 300o Close lid and cook 3-4 hours.[Do not turn the meat during cooking] Internal desired temperature is 130o for Rare, 145o for Medium Rare, 160o for Well done
Remove from grill and wrap in a towel and place in a cooler. Let the roast stand for 15 minutes then slice and serve.
